Rick Roh
Midwest Regional Director of Internship Pathway
Rick currently serves as Assistant Regional Director of Ministry Advancement for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Midwest Region, helping develop internship pathways, equip emerging leaders, and raise up the next generation of disciple-making disciples across Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois.
A Nebraska native and ordained minister, Rick earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Communication from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), where he also played football as an outside linebacker.
His ministry journey began with five years on FCA staff in Omaha, followed by four years as a youth pastor in Des Moines, Iowa, and service alongside longtime friend and mentor Stan Parker with Mission Nebraska. Following 9/11, Rick sensed God's calling into a different kind of ministry, serving 20 years as a Lincoln, Nebraska, police officer.
In 2022, Rick and his wife, Linda, returned to vocational ministry with FCA at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Buffalo County.
Rick's passion is raising up the next generation of Kingdom builders through intentional discipleship, leadership development, and investing in what is eternal: God, His Word, and the souls of people.
A lifelong combat sports enthusiast with over 40 years of martial arts training, Rick also enjoys playing the ukulele. He and Linda have three married children KJ, Joshua and Allison and two incredible grandchildren.
