Chris Bubak
Midwest Region VP
FCA Regional Vice President – Midwest Region. Chris is focused on building a stable foundation for and sustainably growing the ministry of FCA in the Midwest Region. His role centers on strategic leadership hires, assisting in building strong boards and board relationships, leading regional donor development efforts, and supporting FCA staff in reaching their full potential. He works with the regional team to develop strategies to help the state and major market staff thrive spiritually and professionally.
He brings 32 years of nonprofit leadership experience, specializing in staff development, board growth, and successful fundraising efforts. His academic background includes a BS in Math and Computer Science and a MA in Christian Education from Denver Seminary, which together shape both his analytical and people-focused leadership approach.
Chris has served on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes since 1994, working in a variety of field leadership positions for FCA including area representative, area director, state director, and now regional vice president. These roles have given him a deep understanding of ministry in diverse and evolving circumstances and equipped him to effectively support and lead staff across the region.
What motivates Chris most is leading coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Christ. He values serving, integrity, teamwork, and excellence—principles that guide every aspect of his leadership.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors, watching all things sports-related, and sharing life with his wife, Natalie, and their four grown children. These relationships keep him grounded and inspired each day.
